Hello to old customers and new spinners alike. Welcome to Kokovoko. We are a small family business built on a love of spinning and animals, the earth, sustainability and self-sufficiency. We pride ourselves on superior, individualized customer service and support. The business has evolved over the past 21 years from resale of many spinning products to the quality, local production of a few, mostly spindling products. Our spindles are consistently favored by avid spindlers worldwide. Try them, and you’ll see why! They’re simple, elegant, inexpensive, and excellent performers.
All our spindles are made from locally produced hardwoods, and many are literally recycled from a local fine furniture maker. You won’t find exotic rain-forest woods here, simply due to ethical reasons.
For beginners, please go straight to our Learn to Spin Kit page, which I hope will answer lots of your questions about what you need and don’t. As many of you (the already corrupted) know, I love getting beginners started.
I’m still working on new products and as always, I look forward to your input and ideas.
Let me know how you like our products and how you think we might be able to improve (either the products or the website).
Advice, of course, is freely given. Just ask! Also make sure you find our Events link. I’m teaching a lot of spindling these days, and would love to see you on the road…
Please ask if there’s something you need that you don’t see. We also carry much of Schacht’s equipment.
